In memory of fallen soldiers

In Loving Memory of Chara Bella 4/20/08-6/3/10
A sad day at the Shaolin Kamp, As I do multiple times on the daily... I let Chara out to play with her best buddy Sensei and went inside the house to attend my daily routines. Shocked to look out the window to see what at 1st glance looked like a brutal attack (which would be very uncharacteristic) I saw Chara's lifeless body which appeared to be dragged about by Sensie... When I Reached them I noticed Sensei's bottom jaw tightly tangled in Chara's collar. I was too Late! Please say a lil prayer for our Chara Bella... Please be aware of how a collar can become a noose iin the blink of an eye... and use this unforunate occurrence as a lesson so u never have to experience this type of tragedy. I'm sick over the fact that this could happen to any dog, anytime over somthing that is such a common practice as wearing a collar. I will never collor another dog unless I'm on the other end of the leash.
In Loving Memory of Zeus
(Not a member of the SHAOLIN KAMP but a sad loss to the bully world)

In memory of Zeus, my stepsons puppy who's life was cruelly taken in sport yesterday by a teenagers bow. Unfortunately it happened while visiting in SC and shall I put it lightly that the idea of protection of animals from cruelty in most of that state is severely lacking , the sheriff basically shrugged his shoulders and said "it happens". The kid demanded his arrow back or he would press charges for theft of the arrow (the same one that took the dogs life). I am so sorry for your loss Max, Zeus was one of the kindest sweetest dogs I have known, he was so wonderful with little Henry and our cats, he was as sweet as a pet and companion could be, he adored you and I know he will always be by your side in spirit as you walk through this life...xoxo
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

"In the Candle's Glow"
Warm light coming from far below,
Twinkling, sparkling is the candle's glow.
All is well up on the ridge,
The place we know as Rainbow Bridge.
Furbabies sleeping in heaven's light,
Tended by candles in the night.
Peaceful dreams be theirs to keep,
As they slumber in this night so deep.
Hearts on earth that miss them so,
Take comfort in the candle's glow.
Watching for them in skies above,
Bound eternally by a cord of love.
