American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA), established in 1910, registers only American Pit Bull Terriers under its own standard. ADBA dogs are sometimes dual-registered with the UKC but almost never with the AKC. |

AMERICAN SHORT BULLY: Terrier Group; Height 15" at the withers, 40 lbs and under. Dogs outside these limits should be faulted. Good natured and even temper is desired. Extreme shyness or undue aggression is unacceptable. |
